Tragpi team to finish first in Moermansk!

Charity rally for children's hospital in Russia.

 

The Tragpi team was the first to finish in Moermansk, which was the destination of a charity rally from Groningen (NL) to Moermansk (RU) in the beginning of July.

The 15 participating teams collected over € 25.000 for the children's hospital in Moermansk. The teams handed over this money personally by starting a rally with 15 cars in Groningen and drive to Moermansk in 6 stages, via the Baltic States to one of the most northern towns in Russia.

Healthcare in Russia is underdeveloped compared to the care in Western countries. This became evident during a visit to this childrens hospital in Moermansk. The management of the hospital stated that the donation will be used for installing double pane units in the clinics. With wintertime temperatures of -45°C this is certainly a necessity!
