The TRAG and Pi® merger
What are the benefits for me and when will these be effective?
The benefits that our clients are already experiencing is the extension of our product list. Each of our current clients has the choice to either remain with the same product list or to enlarge it to include newly developed and newly introduced product.
The number of products is extended. Our short term (summer 2009) goals are:
1. Full integration of detailed cost price information in Pi® DRG Profiles, Pi® Balanced Score Card
2. Availability of Tragpi DBC Benchmark through the Pi® web portal.
3. Availability of Hospital Benchmark (FTE Benchmark) through the Pi® web portal.
After that further integration of Pi® in existing information and benchmarks is planned, like the OR-, SEH- and radiology benchmarks.
How will the merger affect my current partnership with TRAG or Pi®?
This merger does not induce a strategic reorientation. It mostly means expansion. So the existing partnerships will be equally important and valuable for the new company.
Why merging?
There was a growing demand from our clients to combine the specifics of the health care processes with financial information and vice versa. Clients want this integrated in just one system, so that there is no two versions of the truth within an organization. TRAG and Pi® were both looking for the best partner in this area. Pi® was of the opinion that TRAG was the best financial candidate, TRAG found Pi® the best content candidate. A merger was the most logical next step and the best way to show the market that we both believe in the strength of this merger.
I am a non-healthcare client of TRAG or Pi®. Will you still be able to support me?
Yes. Although our core business will continue to focus on the healthcare sector, both TRAG and Pi services for non-healthcare will remain important to us. In addition, we guarantee more consultants to support this area.
Will I be forced to buy new Tragpi products that are currently not on my product list?
TRAG and Pi® services and products are sold independently. We do focus on providing our clients with the best possible information on their business and support this with our modules when needed. This ensures that there are no two worlds: doctors and manager are looking at the same information through one web based information system.
Will my current contracts remain valid?
Yes. Contracts with TRAG will be unchanged. New Pi®-contracts are closed the TRAG Performance Intelligence Group B.V.
Currently we have a project with Plexus using Pi products. How will this proceed?
Plexus still only has access to the products of the merged company that Plexus-consultants have granted them for the duration of the Plexus project. The Plexus-consultants involved have signed a special non-disclosure contract for this. This procedure remains unchanged. A hospital signs a contract with Trag Performance Intelligence Group B.V. and is free to grant other parties access to the information for future projects. Our current projects will not be influenced by this.
How can I reach my contact within Tragpi?
